While we enjoy our Winter hiatus, it's time for you to get cracking on another great puzzle. This time, it's a laddergram freshly minted from Dave's twisted brain. As added incentive, correct entries will be placed into a drawing for a FREE GAME - Toboggans of Doom, courtesy of Buchephalus Games.

We'll return in two weeks, rarin' to go with another audio show.

Send your solutions to stephen@thespiel.net.  Good Luck!

That was  a fantastic & fun puzzle.  Thank you very much.  And thank you very much for all the little things you do to keep your podcast enjoyable.  Such as providing us with amusement whilst you are having a break.    And so far each a different type of puzzle very nicely done.  I greatly appreciate the effort.  And I'm not just saying that to make up for the fact that it took me almost 2 weeks to figure the darned thing out.  hehehe

I'm glad the Scribblers have really taken off. The response to this one has been great! The trick is finding the sweet spot between making the puzzle challenging but not impossible. Dave is starting to strike a good balance.

I think the Scribblers provide a nice change of pace. The next one may be from my twisted brain. I've got a good concept already brewing and Dave's on board to help out.

I am waiting for the solutions to see where I went wrong :)

I figured out _ribbagm _raughto. It was pretty easy to see that the first word should be cribbage, but I couldn't translate _raughto to anything useful. I spent quite a while with a set of workable answers where the first anwer was > 6 letters. The importance of reading rules!

It was fun though - that was a good format for a puzzle for me.

Sorry to keep you in suspense, Jonathan. I forgot to post the solution earlier today.

Look in the Scribbler listing above and you'll see the link to download the solution.

Glad you enjoyed the challenge!

Glad to see the answers posted.  Because even though I got the answer, there were 3-4 words I didn't know!  Awesome puzzle.
