1. Do you belong to a "boardgaming group"?  If so, what is the name of your group?

2. Approximately how many members attend a typical meeting?

3. How often does your group meet? (weekly, monthly, etc.)?

4. Have you ever run naked through the streets of your town?

5. How would you describe the types of games played by your group? (wargames, party games, eurogames, a good mix of all types, etc.)?

6. Do you regularly attend any gaming conventions?  If so, which ones?

7. Do other members of your gaming group also listen to the Spiel?

8. Do you believe, as I do,  that Dave should have pips tattooed all over his body such that he could actually be rolled, perhaps down a hill, in order to generate a random number if no other method were available?

Do you belong to a "boardgaming group"?

yes.

If so, what is the name of your group?

We do not have a name for our group.

Approximately how many members attend a typical meeting?

eight on an average night.

How often does your group meet? (weekly, monthly, etc.)?

bi-weekly, though we sometimes vary the schedule to weekly or less than bi-weekly.

Have you ever run naked through the streets of your town?

nope

How would you describe the types of games played by your group? (wargames, party games, eurogames, a good mix of all types, etc.)?

Mostly Eurogames, with occasional Fantasy Flight titles. Wargames, Abstracts and Party Games almost never hit the table in group gatherings.

Do you regularly attend any gaming conventions?

yes.

If so, which ones?

BGG.Con and the local ProtoCon when it is being held (it is currently in year three of a planned four year hiatus).

Do other members of your gaming group also listen to the Spiel?

I believe that some do. I know that I mention the podcast often enough...

Do you believe, as I do,  that Dave should have pips tattooed all over his body such that he could actually be rolled, perhaps down a hill, in order to generate a random number if no other meathod were available?

Since I am not in favor of anyone being forcibly tattooed, I will have to say "no"

 1. Do you belong to a "boardgaming group"?  If so, what is the name of your group?

Yes, kind of. Nothing formal really. Just a bunch of guys.

No name - we're not creative enough

2. Approximately how many members attend a typical meeting?

Four.

3. How often does your group meet? (weekly, monthly, etc.)?

Weekly.

4. Have you ever run naked through the streets of your town?

Not my current one. At University, of course.

5. How would you describe the types of games played by your group? (wargames, party games, eurogames, a good mix of all types, etc.)?

A good mix. Normally the shiny new ones.

I yearn to play the same game more than once.

Actually not that bad, but you get the idea.

6. Do you regularly attend any gaming conventions?  If so, which ones?

Normally make Oxcon every year (Oxford UK) and sometimes ManorCon (Leicester UK).

7. Do other members of your gaming group also listen to the Spiel?

One other does, sporadically, but I am the main spiel hound.

8. Do you believe, as I do,  that Dave should have pips tattooed all over his body such that he could actually be rolled, perhaps down a hill, in order to generate a random number if no other method were available?

Absolutely.

We all have to make sacrifices for the common good.

1. Do you belong to a "boardgaming group"?  If so, what is the name of your group?

Yes - Primordial Group & Briggs Bashers

2. Approximately how many members attend a typical meeting?

 12ish

3. How often does your group meet? (weekly, monthly, etc.)?

 Weekly, Fortnightly

4. Have you ever run naked through the streets of your town?

no - don't want to frighten the children

5. How would you describe the types of games played by your group? (wargames, party games, eurogames, a good mix of all types, etc.)?

 Eurogames / RPGS and Eurogames

6. Do you regularly attend any gaming conventions?  If so, which ones?

No - We're in a bit of a dry area regarding cons.

7. Do other members of your gaming group also listen to the Spiel?

I have no idea

8. Do you believe, as I do,  that Dave should have pips tattooed all over his body such that he could actually be rolled, perhaps down a hill, in order to generate a random number if no other method were available?

Unfortunately the previously detailed "Coulson" effect would ensure that the worst possible result would occur, therefore returning a non-random results set.  Plus there may be accusations that the die is weighted.

1. Do you belong to a "boardgaming group"?  If so, what is the name of your group?

Actually have three, the main one though is CABS - Columbus Area Boardgaming Society

 2. Approximately how many members attend a typical meeting?

This year we're averaging 115 per meeting

 3. How often does your group meet? (weekly, monthly, etc.)?

We've gone to 4 meetings most months.  1st and 3rd Fridays, 2nd and 4th Saturdays.  With breaks for Origins, Buckeye Game Fest in October and a special after Thanksgiving weekend day.

4. Have you ever run naked through the streets of your town?

 Nope.

5. How would you describe the types of games played by your group? (wargames, party games, eurogames, a good mix of all types, etc.)?

All sorts get played, there's a fairly dedicated wargame group (including one massive game that's been going on for 3+ months), lots of Euros, and even a few kids playing games.  We've got it all!

6. Do you regularly attend any gaming conventions?  If so, which ones?

Regularly attend Origins and Gen Con.

7. Do other members of your gaming group also listen to the Spiel?

I know there are a few other listeners in the group.

8. Do you believe, as I do,  that Dave should have pips tattooed all over his body such that he could actually be rolled, perhaps down a hill, in order to generate a random number if no other method were available?

I worry that pip tattoos would look too much like some kind of disease, and Dave would be put inside a bubble for the remainder of his natural life.  So yeah, go for it ;)

Tattooed with pips and put in a bubble?  Pop-O-Matic Dave!

1. Yes, I below to a gaming group.  Two actually.  My Monday night group is called the D5.  And our other group is called BAGG-Bangor Area Gamers Guild.

2. The D5 has...you guessed it 5 members!  and BAGG has about 15 members.

3. The D5 meets every Monday with a few exceptions for holidays or personal vacations.  And BAGG meets everyother Saturday.

4. GOD, NO!!  I have do not have the guts to run through my town naked.

5. The D5 plays mostly roleplaying games, D&D and Warhammer and recently we have been playing Descent Road to Legend.  And at BAGG we play a wide variety of board games.  Everyone brings their own games and we pick and choose what we want to play.

6. I attend a local gaming convention we have here in Maine called SnowCon.  I would like to attend more some day.
