I have to admit, I've been coming to think of my creations as Pig Towers, they work so well when my daughter and I play pass the pigs. Not to mention when you want to roll those cosmic cows.

Your goober game reminds me
Your goober game reminds me of a similar game, Wings of War. It's basically a miniatures game without the minis, using cards to maneuver your plane and trying to shoot down the enemy. Best of all, it's REALLY easy to learn and play. And now they've upped the goober ante with Wings of War Miniatures which have a small plane and little acrylic pegs to show the altitude you're at. I've played the base game (with basic rules), and it's LOTS of fun. I'm hoping to pick up some minis at Origins and try it with altitude rules and the cool goobery toys!

OOoooh! Those planes look nifty! Thanks for bringing them to my attention. My wallet may not like it, but I do!
We have actually played Wings of War and we both really liked it. A fun mix of maneuvering, strategy, and a little bit of luck. That altitude rules would certainly add a new dimension to the game, for sure (ouch that pun even hurt me a little).
I'll be on the lookout for the new goobery add-ons at Origins and GenCon, too!
Hey! I was there!
I recognize the second picture. It was from the May encounter in Lisbon (Portuguese boardgamers organize a games day every month in Lisbon). It was a 5 vs 5 battle, and I was there controlling a Sopwith Camel. That picture was taken the day the minis arrived (they are very popular among our gaming community). Weeks later, in Leiria, we played it again (5 vs 5) but this time on a scenario with trees, roads, rivers and bridges. It was awesome!
I never expected to saw that picture on The Spiel website!
