OK, I'm going to throw my hat into the proverbial ring on this one...
Ploy has pieces with FINS...

In Chinese cuisine (such as might be found in a restaurant in Chinatown) one of the most prized delicacies is Shark's FIN.
Is that too much of a stretch?
Ploy has a picture that looks very similar to Leneord Nemoy on the cover.
AND
Kirk used an excuse that Spock Got his head caught in a chinese rice picking machine (presumably built in a CHINA TOWN.) as a PLOY to excuse Spocks funny looking ears in that one episode of Star Trek.
Okay it's really a stretch on the chinatown part, but I'm new at this.

Ploy was released in the 70s. So too was the movie ChinaTown, which didn't include any future Star Trek stars that I am aware of, but did include a Ploy to control real estate by diverting water.
It also included Jack Nicholson, but I don't peg him as the futuristic abstract gamer type.
China is currently holding the Summer Olympics in Beijing, which is one big Chinatown. And you can't spell "Olympics" without p-l-o-y.
