Guess as many times as you like. If no one finds our mystery connection, we'll award the dice to the guess we think is the most creative.

Spiel on!

Bears. Pueblo is connected to bears by the song Running Bear by Johnny Preston from 1960. Running Bear tells the story of Running Bear, a "young Indian brave," and Little White Dove, an "Indian maid" who fall in love with each other on first sight. Craps is connected to bears by the famous saying about bears and thier attitude towards fertilizing the forest. Is this the correct connection? Does a bear crap in the woods?
Casino ? Craps is a classic Casino game and Pueblo is a city in Colorado with some casinos :) Also, many Pueblos (eg The 19 Indian Pueblos of New Mexico) are quite involved with the gambling/casino industry. Could it be this simple ? Cheers, Bruno

Ok how about this one, Eyes. In Craps if you roll two ones its called snake "eyes", and in Pueblo as the cheif moves around the board he sees your colored blocks (with what I can only assume are "eyes").

Bears, casinos, and eyes... oh my! Very creative, but the mystery connection remains a mystery...

No idea on this one - my creative juices have clearly run a little dry. Is it something to do with foreign names ? Craps being a derivation of the French word crapaud (did I hear that right?) and pueblo being the Spanish word for a town. ------------------------------------------------- We don't stop playing games when we get old...... 1. Concur with above: Pueblo Indian tribes run casinos, where you can play Craps. 2. Inversion: In Pueblo, you win by making the fewest points. In Craps, you win by making the most points. (Ignoring come bets, hard ways, and other prop bets - though come bets can be seen as "extra" points.) (Dang, outed myself as a gambler. Mostly I play HoldEm and some Video Poker. I occasionally shoot craps in Downtown Vegas at the $1 tables. I play the pass line with two come bets, all with $5 or $6 odds. If I am the shooter and the point is even, I'll put up a $1 and $1 hardway bet.)
