I can't say you can get it done in 2 hours, but a Game of Thrones would always be my preference to Diplomacy nowadays. It's a similar game but with a lot more spice. It doesn't hurt that I love the books too. :)

Cutthroat Caverns : I thought this sounded very interesting too and I finally got to play it this weekend. Blah. It just doesn't play as fun as it sounds. Try before you buy.
